2010 Exhibition of Quilts

Richmond and Kew Quilters held its sixth exhibition of members’ work at the Landmark Arts Centre, Teddington in May 2010.

The show, which is one of the larger amateur quilting events in the South East, attracted more than 500 visitors to see around 130 patchwork quilts, wall hangings and other items exhibited.

Visitors were also able to take part in a raffle to win a quilt made by the members. This raised £2,000 for two local charities: Princess Alice Hospice and the Caring Café run by the Richmond branch of the Alzheimer's society.

The next exhibition is planned for October 2012 so you can start planning your quilts for then!

Visitors’ favourite quilt

Visitors to the show were asked to vote for their favourite quilt. Swift - no way the quilt shown below was voted visitor's choice.
